It all started one dark and stormy night. The call came in, and the voice was clear:
I need a complete redesign to build a major online news source. I need mercenaries, now!!
Lucky for him, he hit the sweet spot – we’re the go to mercs for these intense black ops missions and we delivered an award winning site.
The site is Singularity Hub, and the content flat out rocks. We bet you can’t read just one story. It’s the Lays potato chips of the web content world.
So what was used to create this Singularity Hub? Our client is aiming to be the Huffington Post of the science and technology world so we started with some inspiration there, only we had to make it better (gotta maintain our street cred). Our goal was to simplify the content while enhancing the experience. We needed to crispen up the interface and keep the content organized and clean. With this much content, that was no easy task, but it came together nicely.
Once we nailed the UI and design, we built out a custom WordPress site fully optimized for the heavy traffic Singularity experiences. And there’s good reason for that traffic. It’s addictive.
Traffic has shot through the roof – it has been amazing!
