We’re Looking for the Best Web Designer in Town

Are you passionate about pushing pixels? Are you a typographic genius? Do you always design on a grid? Can you produce gallery-worthy designs in a variety of styles? If so, please keep reading.

OnWired, a full-service web design/development firm and all-around cool place to work, is on the hunt for a web designer. We’re looking for someone with a creative mind, a keen understanding of user experience, exceptional communication skills, attention to detail, self-motivation, and the ability to hit the deadline every time. You must be responsive — no 48 hour delays in responding to emails — and you can’t be afraid to talk to clients.

On the technical side, you should be able to wrestle Adobe’s suite of design products into submission. Can you make Photoshop sing and dance? Can you bend Illustrator to your will? If you can write CSS in your sleep, that’s a big plus, but it’s certainly not required. Also, we’re not sticklers for fancy degrees (although a BFA earns you some bonus points). We just want someone who can get the job done.

World’s Greatest Cover Letter Needed

Now we come to the pay-off. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to send your resume along with the world’s greatest cover letter and the best examples of your work (preferably in the form of an online portfolio) to HireMe@onwired.com. By the way, we’re in the Raleigh/Durham area who, so we need someone who can come in to our office. If you aren’t already in the area or if you aren’t willing to relocate, we’ll have to pass..
