Make the Season Bright!
on 07 Dec 31
Each year, we receive Christmas and holiday cards from our clients and associates. And each year, we spend days trying to figure out what we should send them: Chocolate? Cards? Stuffed raccoons? (We opted for the first two.) Now, we could have taken the easy route and gone all-Hallmark on them, but we’re a classier bunch: we decided instead to hand-make our Christmas cards this year, since nothing warms the holiday spirit like generic gold foil holly, acorns, and glossy lettering on a navy background. Kind of sends the “We really don’t want to bother, but feel obligated to anyway” message…
So take a gander:
Lovely, no? We drew and lettered each of these, by hand, and they are gorgeous to behold in person. Note that the rounded corners of the card itself mirrors the shape of the OnWired Chiclet™ (see logo). We mounted them on 3 different colors of thick, textured card stock and mailed in handsome vellum envelopes so that you could see the card even before taking it out (and so nobody threw them away by accident). We made a few dozen of them for our favorite clients to accompany our yummy Southern Season chocolate baskets. Jen, Jon, Tony and I all signed it and we couldn’t be more pleased with how they turned out.
So a special thanks to all our clients and associates that made 2007 such a terrific year for us. We’re looking forward to 2008!
