Dan Briggs
Dan is one of the most hardcore application developers we’ve ever met. Since joining the team at OnWired, he’s been hard at work on our internal projects. Of course, that’s a perfect fit for him since he spent the last few years in the Baltimore area working as a government contractor. Yes, he really has top secret clearance, and yes, if he tells you what he was working on for the Feds, he’ll have to kill you.
Originally from San Antonio, Dan is a connoisseur of Tex-Mex cuisine and a self-proclaimed amateur chef. He’s also a scholar of social networking trends, closely watching the continuing fight over online privacy rights.
He’s a bit of a traveler, having spent time in at least a dozen countries over the last few years. He’s gotten himself in and out of quite a few hairy situations, but hey, it sure makes for some interesting home movies.
Dan brings over 9 years of web and network security experience to the table, and he’s been rocking PHP and Ruby on Rails for as long as he can remember. Yes, he even knows how to use regex. If you don’t know what regex means, you probably shouldn’t mention it to him. He can kill you with his pinky finger. Seriously.
