Chris Jones

Well, actually, the music came before OnWired. Chris learned to play the guitar growing up as a young rapscallion in Mississippi, but things didn’t really take off until he moved to Memphis. Then he met the Colonel, and the hits just kept coming! Unfortunately, it went to his head. He gained a lot of weight and started wearing a white jumpsuit. Then, in 1977, he died unexpectedly.

Or did he?

Rumor has it Chris faked his death and escaped to Buenos Aires. Some say he now lives a quiet life at OnWired writing PHP and Ruby on Rails applications, coding beautiful standards-compliant websites, and preaching the virtues of grids and typography on the web. And though he’s happier now, every now and then he misses the glory days.

Except for the Chris impersonators. Seriously, those guys have got to go.
